A little about me
Hi, I’m Eric — a videographer and filmmaker based in Vancouver, BC. I started working in video in 2012 through a co-op program with Ottawa’s Rogers TV. After that I attended Algonquin College, where I studied television broadcasting and really learned to hone my videography skills. In my second year I also began serving as an Infantry Reservist with the Cameron Highlanders of Ottawa.
I then spent seven and a half years with the Government of Canada on the video team at Innovation, Science and Economic Development. There I worked with a small team producing a variety of government content, including internal communications videos, official announcements and speeches, testimonials, and event highlights.
On occasion my military life crossed over with my film work, and I’ve appeared on screen playing soldiers. Credits include a role on the television show Mayor of Kingstown and, more recently, parts in the upcoming season of Hitler’s Last Stand.
In 2025 I left my government position and began working as a freelance videographer, taking on a wide range of projects.
When I’m not behind a camera or editing, you can find me hiking with my two Rhodesian Ridgebacks, obsessing over brewing the perfect coffee, making bowls of ramen, or watching a great movie.
